American PRO AM Tournament in the US.
Our association is a not for profit organization in an effort to
promote golf competition among African American golfers throughout
the United States.
African Americans have been a part of the golfing world for years as
inventors, greens keepers, caddies and players. The masterful win of
Tiger Woods is a milestone that has its origins in the hopes, dreams
and skills of the pioneers such as Pete Brown, Lee Elder, Charlie
Sifford, Jim Dent and Charlie Owens.
We are
committed to excellence in everything we do. That commitment will
drive improvement and change, enabling us to flexibly adapt to
changes in the world of golf. |
